thinking chair
ok. so after dragging steven to 2 party stores and 1 tjmaxx, we got home with 5 shopping bags. theme, you ask? BLUE'S CLUES! (never mind that the children coming to the party range in age: 13,12,9,6,4,2) I bought $1 bucket & pails and intend on filling them with every goofy BLUE'S CLUES party trinket they could sell me. so of course after spending $20 on my mylar balloon o
rder and only finding one measely 
section of an aisle with BC, i had to ask. "what is it? BC isn't cool anymore?" the sweet party store employee says, "i think its cool, but yeah its a small section." I guess when Dora and Diego came to town...the BC had to move over. so there i stood in front of the elmo section like, wow, this is HUGE. steven want to switchto ELMO! and the silence. BLUE'S CLUES! complete with sign. it is. and of course, he did his trademark screeching. until we went down an aisle and i started dancing to BarryWhite. then there was laughter! now i gotta get my cake man to return my call for a blue's clues custom cake!!!
tonight our organic CSA begins and we are so excited. the first pickup of our organic goodies has a nice wine and cheese party. and it doesn't matter that i have wine and cheese in my own home, the promise of free is all i need. hell, we already paid $600 for this years share! that's some expensive goat cheese! 1st party store bill: $29.97, 2nd party store bill: $65.33.
