when in doubt, order pizza
ok. i pretty much decided that shall be my epitaph. i have been having this conversation with mary mary where we compare our housewifey duties and we both think we suck at the whole getting dinner on the table thing. it's a task. it's our JOB. but the way i feel, is that if I don't have a rachael ray recipe picked out and the ingredients on a shopping list by 10am, then the whole day is shot. then i stress about the impending dinner hour. then it arrives and im like ARG! let's order pizza. usually, it's how would you like pizza? tonight, it was, I'm ordering pizza. and by ordering, i mean, logging into papajohns.com and picking the same garden veggie thin crust pizza that we have been getting since I started weight watchers. i mean, since i starting paying a company to now make me feel guilty when i go for that ice cream, it's not enough that *I* know i ate the ice cream, now there is a corporation involved. my sponsor. i wish it was adidas, but no, it's weight watchers. no, no, no this is not supposed to be a fat post. it's a post about not getting things done and let's see, im flying to colorado for 5 days in less than 28 hours and im blogging. im not finishing sorting of the pile of clothes i have laid out. nope, im blogging. so, the college soccer season is over and i can return to normal functioning. i have been TiVOing the shite out of the women's season and last week I was a big fan of Kerri Hanks from notre dame, the first sophmore to win the "heismann" of womens college soccer. but then she won it, and i felt like it was a ripoff. heather O should have won. im sorry, its not ALL about the goals, what about the conference? anyway, maybe the national team will have a look at Hanks and see if she really is the next lady Beckham. I don't care really, I just want the world cup trophy on AMerican soil. i had to run to REI tonight to buy some patagonia long underwear, b/c i checked the weather in Beaver Creek and um, it's cold. like really cold. days til my first hosting of a tupperware party:36, new tupperware containers sitting on my counter: 11, days ago they arrived: 4.
