ok. last night, i went with beaner to see tim gunn of project runway fame speak at the corcoran. im not a fashionista. im not even close. but i do wish someone told tim who his audience would be at the 7pm talk. he droned on an on about his education(snore) and parrsons and blah blah blah. AND THEN he started talking about project runway. Then the audience woke up and started getting into it. he fielded questions and of the 15, 2 were not about PR. dont get me wrong, i love him, i love the way he speaks, the words he chooses, i just wanted to hear more about heidi and the designers, not his bio. but the free wine and apps afterwards helped. i really wanted to be able to post a pic of me and tim enjoying ourselves but i couldnt make it work. i am on operation get peekay back in DC, at leastfor a monthly visit!

in other news, last weekend steven got to meet miss agnes of blog. she is so cute, it is hard to not want to scoop her up and hug hug hug. they definitely had fun, laughing and cheek smooshing. or was that me. ha. usually stevenjr commands all the attention on the streets, but as we walked past cali pizza kitchen, THREE different window tables turned to look at her in the bjorn. she is that cute.

steven jr has had his first round of antibiotics in his 16 months of life, to clear up a bout of bronchitis. sheesh, im not winning any mom-md of the year awards, as i kept thinking he was teething. um, not when his wee chest is rattling. dress sizes dropped: 1, pounds lost: 9.6.
