pee.kay.are family (sung to the tune of "we are family")
ok. my parents are here for a few days before they head to NY then back home to EL. Then next week I meet up with them to drive to the vineyard for the week. can you say TOO MUCH TIME TOGETHER. today my dad has corrected me on 3 things (and it's only half over): the height of my hallway pictures, the way i cut the tomatoes and thirdly, the distance our couches are to our TV. nevermind that his house is a complete disaster. pictures can't be seen under the layer of dust, his tomatoes expired 3 months ago and his TV is a pulldown screen about 5 feet from a projector. so you see, this is easily driving me BANANAS. i argued the first 2 times, but only briefly. the 3rd time i did a count to 10 and just said to myself, "they leave tomorrow am". but then i realized that i will be seeing them next week for a full week. AI! alright, im just bellyaching, but how many times do i really need to hear "WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE..." followed by something so trivial that it should never have even been mentioned. THE WORLD CUP starts tomorrow. im so excited, i can't wait until noon tomorrow to watch germany and the ticos. i prefer costa rica since i have been there and it is a beautiful country. plus the german womens national team really annoys me. but it's really all about beckham, now isn't it. steven jr is cute, did i mention this. he gives kisses. if you are lucky, he will close his mouth, but he prefers it the french way. he even tried to bite my lips yesterday in what i thought was a sweet little smooch. he also blows raspberries, on any body part he comes across, and has no problem lifting shirts to get to his favorite skin, my belly. steven jr's bedtime last night: 9, hours slept uninterrupted: 12.
