vacation - all i ever wanted
ok. not only is it one of my favorite go-go's songs, but its the truth. we leave for NC on saturday morning and i am excited! spent some time vacay shopping at costco today and realized, no, in fact we do not need a can of tuna to feed 25. i suppose if i was to want to make the world largest sub, that would make sense, but i don't know enough tuna lovers to get together for that kinda can of tuna. tonight my over 30 soccer team lost 4-0. boohiss. reiterating the fact that i need to dump this team and find a better one. i dont mind a 1-0 but a 4-0 butt kicking isnt really all that fun. i subbed out when it was 2-0 b/c my shins were on fire. bought new adidas running sneakers today. at costco. they came free with the can of monster tuna. i joke. im on my second glass of wine in an attempt to fool my aching body that it is in fact time to sleep. but since i am FIVE sopranos episodes behind... there is tv to watch. COX onDemand TV has made me very lazy. the slippery slope of missing tv is hard to crawl back up.
steven jr notes: very determinedly shakes head no and is working on yes, for no apparent reason. popped his 5th tooth through. slept til 8:30 sunday morning, and only woke up then b/c steveO was nervous about him sleeping in. likes to headbutt you when he is happy. days til vacay: 4, hours to DUCK: 5, family sleeping over friday night: 11.
