keep, toss or sell
ok. beaner is having a tag sale with me on saturday in my driveway, so this whole week i have been walking around the house taking inventory. should it stay or should it go? i'm getting pretty overwhelmed with the amount of "stuff" i have. i still have 3 boxes full of knick-knacks from my office. items which i have shuffled around from job to job in DC since 2000. and yes tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of my retirement from the system engineering world. i say retirement, as if it's the final retirement, but i think i may be more like michael jordan #23 and have a comeback. probably not due to the public demand, more towards the "i really want a beach-house to really retire to" or the "i gotta send my son to private school". let's just hope it's not for a while. you see, i sit here blogging while my almost one year old is watching dora on tv. i know, i know, boohiss. what kind of a mom am i? subjecting my infantoddler to the world of A.D.D. but a mom's gotta
blog. so my over 30 soccer team won last night 9-4. yeah, it was an OUTDOOR game. with an indoor score. i had 4 assists. but no goals. i blame my unselfish play, and my shinsplints. did you know that mother's day was sunday? what better way to celebrate but with a 9pm soccer game! woohoo. and for the record. we had the heat on last night as it droppped to 40 and right now the temp sits at 71. WTF????? furniture warranty length(in months): 12, month table broke: 10, month i called store: 16, $ paid to furniture medic man to fix our new dining room table: 120.
