peep-free easter
ok. it felt like something was missing. then i realized it. i didn't eat ONE single peep. nope, not one. i didn't really even think about them. does that indicate a turn towards adulthood? let's not speculate. we spent easter weekend in williamsburg, where i spent saturday at WALMART. shopping in this absolutely wonderful store. it was neat, it was clean, and if you looked for a product, you found it, on the shelf, with the price listed under it. and there were many products. and many deals. but we weren't in northern virginia, we were in williamsburg virigina, where people place products back neatly and the staff seemed like nice people. I did think for a moment about the slave children with their tiny hands working on my treasured widget.(sorry! but did you see all the $ I SAVED?) I went there looking for baby food and i left with more. oh so much more. who wouldn't want a baby pool floatie with an adjustable canopy? did i mention an outer banks vacay? no? i meant to. i really did. and there is not enough time to shop for everything a 12 month old needs at the beach. we leave in 6 weeks and i may start Xing off the days on the calendar tomorrow. soccer news: we lost our game monday night. but i scored. it felt really good. i plan to score more. and i did it after spending a chocolate-dream-world of easter candy eating. need to do some catch-up with my netflix movie queue. i hate to think they are making money off of me, so i finally watched just-like-heaven, squid-and-the-whale and derailed, phew, i need a night off. score of monday's game: 2-1, goals i should have had:3, goals i had:1.
