Home again, home again, dancing a jig
ok. so the drive home from NJ was pretty swell until i hit the DC area. a car was overturned on 95 South about 3 exits from me and thanks to my handy dandy XM radio, I KNEW ALL ABOUT IT!!! so i hoped off on 216 and took 29 south to the beltway, thereby passing ALL traffic. it was such a beautifully executed plan. the floor guys are here making all sorts of noise, and my darling angel is sleeping through the madness of a compressor and a nail gun! he is a marvel. on my drive down the garden state parkway, i looked over to the right and saw a GROUND HOG! fully standing up, looking around, just chillin'. it was the most random thing i have seen in a while. then this morning, baby steven and i go out to the car to get his toy bag and i hear this weird-loud-chirp-gulp noise. so i walk over to my neighbors yard and spy a chipmunk on her slate wall, making all this NOISE! it was the strangest thing ever. I didn't EVEN know that chipmunks made any noise at all. i mean, if they were to make a noise, i would have thought it was more like simon, alvin or theodore. NOPE! MYTHS debunked! live at phlegm blogger. and sorry i didn't get my guest bloggers lined up, april kinda snuck up on me! hours to NJ: 3.5, hours back from NJ: 5.5, hours steven slept:3.25, hours steven cried: 1.25.
