touché tarjay
ok. who is this person, i have become? for tomorrow's MOPS meeting, I am to bring TWO 9X13 egg-type casseroles. I am thinking one is going to be hard enough but TWO?! so, i ask around and find out that i am not supposed to bake it at the church like i had originally planned, no i need to bake it at home and bring it in the am- ready to eat - pret a manger. WTF???? I have no means to carry such pans, and now they will be hot?! so i am off to tarjay to solve my domesticivity woes. I am there for ONE item. that doesn't stop me from putting a $1.50 pampers coupon in my bag, so already I am there for TWO items. long story short - $93.48 poorer, i emerge from the store ready to hit any potluck which comes my way. I purchased the following:

- pyrex ON THE GO portable HOT dish carrier
- a couple cute maternity shirts for my tiny cousin(she has trouble finding smalls in hotlanta)
- a pastry cutter(what? wacked i know, but i made a recipe once that called for this and i didn't have it and i have felt empty ever since)
- a new spatula(blue)
- a large ladle(ditto pastry cutter comments)
- 88 pack of pampers(used the calculator on my cell in the diaper aisle to determine the best deal in the sizes. hint:: the small ones on sale are never cheaper than the bulk box full price.)
- a 16 quart clear bin for stationery
- an under the sink bin
- peppermint orbitz(TOTAL IMPULSE)
so there you have it, tarjay is an evil place, too bad they don't sell willpower. i would buy it, even the store brand.
tv notes: project runway finale was everything i hoped. i love chloe. love her. so glad santino was sent packing. buh bye, i dont care if you love your mom and you were an ugly child. you still lose.
eggs cracked for the 2 casseroles: 18(did you know that they actually sell eggs in packs of 18?), new record set for cracking most eggs in one baking session: 3-8-2006.
