do it for jonny
ok. so either i have been watching way too much tv(true) or the cell phone commercial with jonny moseley is on EVERY 2 minutes(also true). the way he says crevasse has really been bugging me. creVAAASe. arg. but at first i was confused b/c i thought he should be saying crevice. in which case he was saying it WRONG! how did that get past the marketing weenies? but before i posted about this annoying ad, i decided to do my homework and check out dictionary.com. and there i go, being proven incorrect. turns out I would have said CREVICE, but in fact he was in a cre·vasse n. A deep fissure, as in a glacier; a chasm. I still prefer crev·ice n. A narrow crack or opening; a fissure or cleft. for that matter, i call it a VASE (rhymes with face) regardless of how much it costs. hours til next indoor game: 5, projected goal scoring: 2, US Women lose to GERMANY in PKs: 3-4, hour steven jr woke up crying last night:3, hour he returned to sleep: 5
