Happy Black Friday!
Okay, so I was wrong ... this Thanksgiving was really nice and the food was completely up to my expectations, based on comparisons to previous Thanksgiving feasts. Unlike Reid, seconds weren't even on the radar screen; ONE helping was almost more than this gal could handle. As it was, I didn't even have my usual "a little bit of everything" because I ran out of room on my plate. Thank goodness, because I think that's all that saved me from a bad case of the Bloats. ;D
After dinner we went out driving so we could have the feel of going "out on the town" in Williamsburg, but since the town is so small, you could be in and out of it before you even know it. Still, it's a very cute town, one with all of its evergreen finery on. Lots of white candles in windows, red bows, boughs of evergreen ... You get the picture.
All in all, a very nice place to spend the holiday, but a little quiet.
Sigh.
I'm having Cutest Baby in the World withdrawals. Peekay, come back soon or at least, send some new pics! :D
