Coffee Plant

You know, I had a similar experience with a co-worker's office plant. One thing she forgot to tell me: she had secretly switched her plant's regular food for Folger's. Yes, she was giving her plant the best that Juan Valdez had to offer. Coffee grounds. Have you ever heard of such a thing?

Um, unfortunately, that plant was a goner before I ever touched it. I SWEAR! ;D

I don't have a worst Thanksgiving ever (so says Politically Correct Sharondarella who is related to Peekay by Marriage, and who has to keep SOME things secret so she STAYS related to Peekay.) Holidays in the family are always PEACHY!

Okay, the pressure is too much, I'm going to cave: I think this year could be the worst Thanksgiving ever. I will be the lone chick home in the parental's empty nest, when they were hoping to have a full house ... there is nothing worse than being the only chick when there is supposed to be a whole flock. But this is only one reason why it's probably going to be the worst. Why else? Well, I love turkey, but are we having turkey? No, we are having a "turkey roast" that is the size of your average three-person serving pork roast. That means no leftovers. No turkey sandwiches, no soup, no seconds. You want to stick to your one serving goal, come to my parental household this year!

On a good note, there will be cinnamon buns and apple pie; I made sure there was something to look forward to, since it won't be seconds on turkey! ;D
