Cead Mile Failte
ok. we are back! with a couple new things like mr germ and mrs germ. i tried my hardest to stay clear of the vermin but i was unable to stay healthy. i wonder if the 20 degree massachusetts weather had anything to do with it!
thank you so much areseven and Sharonderella for keeping the blog-faith alive. it was so nice to come home and see the lawn finely cut, the mail on the kitchen table and a fresh flower on my bedside table. I could have done without the toilet paper in the trees but pranksters will be pranksters.
ahh. the time off was wonderful. the trip to EL was pretty great. auntie kathleen flew down and was my co-pilot on the drive up. and guess what arrived in the mail the day before i left!??!?!? THE EZPASS!! woohooo. i am a convert! praise EZ! my new bestest friend. i love you EZ PASS! I will never stop for a toll booth collector ever again! i will never sit in line and search for my loose change! I will never! it is the BEST modern convenience!! if you dont have it and EVER travel on 95, good god what are you waiting for!!! i was so happy to speed along through the express lanes. i might even drive back! yes! a return visit for new years weekend!!!
did i mention i was sick? yeah. i feel horrible. throat is sore, hurts to talk, much less sing. and for some reason, i have been singing "I could have danced all night"(think audrey hepburn, but hear Julie Andrews) to baby Steven alot and despite the hoarse voice, he still enjoys me hitting that high note.
i will cover thanksgiving and the visit to massachusetts tomorrow. for now i am out. as in over and. hours from VA-MA on sunday before thanksgiving: 7, # of stops: 2, hours stopped:1, traffic jams experienced: 0.
hours from MA-VA on saturday AFTER thanksgiving:10, # of stops:2, traffic jams: 3.
