peek a boo!
i was originally going to make halloween cards and send them out but with the Baptism planning and all the out-of-town guests, I had to let it go. So this was baby Steven's "get ready for halloween" outfit, b/c everyone has one. right? I woke up to a crisp 40 degrees in VA today. eeouch. then i realized that baby doesn't have a winter coat for right now. he has one for next year.. so i had better get shopping. two weeks away from his 6 month visit and he is definitely eyeing 12 months clothes square in the face. had one of those eye-opening mirror moments where i was playing with baby in front of our floor length mirror and then i got a view of me. WOAH. big is not beautiful and i need to get my buttinski into shape. of course it has rained the last few days and so instead of getting on the elliptical in the basement, i um yeah finished a couple pints of haagen-dazs LIGHT ice cream. light schmight. i had an all access pass and i ate it. but i am really working on motivating myself to not become a candidate for the biggest loser. it starts at home. i have been neglecting netflix too. it's not just this blog, so i kicked it up into high gear and i have seen 4 movies in the last 3 days. i finished "Be Cool" tonight. i never actually saw "get shorty" so i probably missed a bunch of references but vince vaughn was so funny and i really do hope that he is with jennifer anniston. but otherwise, i didnt like it, like it. but i didnt hate it. i kinda just felt like i watched it b/c i had to. i have only returned 2 movies without actually viewing them and i want to cut that # from growing. days til next soccer game:2.
