Happy Halloweenie!
ok. I know it's not technically halloween but since blogger allows us to control the past, present and future- i will take my superpowers when they are handed out. so here is the little man after a night of being pimped out to the neighbors so mommy could test the candy lot. Neighbor Nickie gave steveO and I each a mini-bundt cake! yum! how very Mrs. Cleaver of her! the candy she offered the kids was, get this, peppermint candies. like the kind you find at a restaurant. what? who hands that out? someone trying to fit into a mother-of-the-bride dress, that's who. but i didn't say anything. I just knew that when the teeny-boppers came a tricking, it was her house on the EGG list. I originally bought 4 bags of candy but SteveO informed me that he likes to pass out 3-4 candies and um this wouldnt last long! WOAH!!!! growing up, I only ever got 1 candy per house and if you found the house with the FULL candy bar it felt like XMAS and Easter rolled into one day of Halloween! So this handing out of 3-4 candies made me realize that the SUPER-SIZE-me campaign has slipped into October 31st. ANyway, we took turns handing out the candies. Isaac the mini spiderman was my fav. His suit was all pumped up to show a really buff spiderman. I said WOW, are you really SPiderman? and his very deep, "YEAH" just had me rolling. And yes, it did feel real GOOD to pull the basket back after this one teenybopper reached his greedy mitt in for a seconds. reflexes. still got em. Most popular candy: Reese's peanut butter cups. candy bags finally purchased: 9, bags left over(estimated): 4.
