MOPS
ok. tomorrow i go to my first mom's cult meeting. its this group called moth ers o f pre sc hool ers. (spaces intentional) My friend Loretta suggested I join, as a way to meet new moms and get out of the house. im a bit nervous about the group as there is a real super-christian feel to the website. i was raised catholic and my son is going to be christened in a week but i dont feel all that churchy. especially when a lot of super christians tend to scare me here in DC. but i will be brave and keep my far left wing theories at bay and only speak when brunch hits. and speak only of the foods. not the bible. they serve brunch, and that is a real reason to go. why does religion scare me? one word: f-a-n-a-t-i-c-s. why does the VW dealership charge $78 for an OIL CHANGE on a 4 month old car? who the hell knows these things!!! days til my family hits the DC metro area: 6, $ spent at COSTCO in preparation: 261.
