no reception @ the reception
ok. so it turns out that baby doesn't take ANY bottle anymore. so all those late nights I spent last week pumping out my precious milk so baby could drink while I slipped away was futile. This past weekend we headed out of town- Leesburg VA. Technically not that far since it is only 30 miles from our house, but when I am not sleeping at home, I am OUT-OF-TOWN officially. So we went to the hotel and I set up the room while steveO attended the rehearsal as best man. I unpacked the diaps, the bouncy seat, the activity mat and his blankets. I stripped the beds of those disgusting Comforters and settled in. Next day is wedding day and Auntie Sharondarella was coming in to save the day and watch the little prince. I was a bit nervous seeing how the baby has been fussy when anything except my nipples are presented during feeding time at the zoo. AND it wasn't until dinner, that SteveO tells me that the clubhouse where we are currently seated and eating in gets NO cell phone reception. WOOPS! It was 9:08pm which is 3 hours since I left Auntie S with the little *potential* cranky pants. I run out to the porch and listen to 2 voicemails and see that SteveO also has 2 on his cell. It seems mr babyhead likes to cry alot and refuses to eat and is causing a general ruckus while he is wheeled up and down the hallway of the hotel. Causing guests to come out of their rooms and stare. EEK. So i had to leave the wedding for a little over an hour. I have got to find a way to get this baby back on the path of drinking from bottles!!! I was actually happy to leave the reception as the dancing began b/c I was wearing the HIGHEST heels I have ever worn and well, my feet haven't been in real shoes in over a YEAR! AND I just found out that my feeet are not in fact going to return to their old size, they are final with the pregnancy growth.final. SIZE 9. yikes. I am too nervous to pull my cleats out of the attic to find that the $150 is out the window. EEK. nights til my 1st game back on the field: 4.
