hippo birdy two moo, hippo birdy two moo!
ok. It's my birthday and i will drag everyone to the Washington Mall on a scorcher 92 degree day. hey, i have been cooped up too long! so off to the memorials we went and baby slept through the entire day. walked past some of my womens league soccer games and cant wait to get back out there. but the fact that i sustained my energy for a 2 hour walk around monuments was very exciting! Plus I wanted to let sister Kathleen feel like she actually travelled to DC and not some house on a cul de sac. then I decided to take the baby to dinner! Coastal Flats it was. It was a night of firsts as baby stayed awake through the appetizers and zonked off to sleep. only to awake right when the dessert arrived(which was later comped b/c it took so freaking long). and he decided HE wanted dessert NOW. so i did my first public breastfeeding moment. it was pretty successful, but i also thank the large half moon booth we were in b/c it definitely provided privacy and if passersby want to see the top edge of my boob, they had to make a point of peering over my blanket.
