IT's a ... home security system!
ok. today is may 4th. If i was playing by the rules, I would be in the hospital being hooked up to all sorts of tubes and wires and expecting to see a crying baby pop out my hoo-hoo. but, for some strange reason, i told my doc i wanted to wait. so now, i wait. i did go back the next week and say ok let's schedule it for the 4th but she said i was too late. so i am still on the schedule for the 11th. technically, if i had the baby boy today, I could enjoy tomorrow with some corona lights with lime. although, im pretty sure the hospital doesn't serve those. things i wonder, will i ever wear a bathing suit again? will my knees ever work the way they used to? Can i stop taking the stairs one at a time?
last night we signed up for an ADT home security system. I am not exactly how it all happened. When the guy showed up it was obvious he was new, and he later admitted it was his first day. yikes, that scares me. a sales rep's first day to sell security and he is nervous! i don't feel very secure. That and he smelled. he stunk like he worked hard all day and did some sweating which dried, then maybe it rained on him and he did more sweating. The level of detail to which my prego nose can detect is really amazing. SteveO smelled nothing. so I was looking at Steve like we can't buy this from this smelly first timer... and so tonight we get the system installed. fear breeds sale. who knew. so as of tonight, i will be safe in my home with a security system. just try to come steal my peewee herman doll. times i thought i broke my water last night: 2.
