Elvis has entered the building...
I am having great fun guest-blogging in Peekay's world! :D Every day that I post an entry is a day she swears she's going to boot up and begin blogging again. I heard a few very tantalizing words that will be the subject of one of her first blogs when she comes back. I'm going to put them here so she doesn't forget: "Depends: Adult Pull-ups"
Little Stretch is doing fine, although I think we shall have to change his nickname because he bears a striking resemblance to The King (of Rock & Roll, not Yul Brenner, thank God.)
The young prince & someday king is in the upper 98th percentile on something ... I think perhaps it was his ability to sleep through just about anything, even an hour of American Idol. ;p Sorry, but Peekay will have to update you properly on the baby raves because I'm not familiar with the lingo yet, possibly because I haven't read any of the very cute books scattered around the living room featuring various bare-bottomed babies on the covers. Those books scare me.
Peekay & SteveO could teach a graduate level course on the lessons in those books. They are using the new parent linguistics with ease, too. Strange words are afoot in their household ... things like "Dreft" "stump" "Similac" "syringe" "onesie" and of course, any and all words referring to baby bodily functions make a daily appearance. It's most impressive and a bit intimidating for the uninitiated. I think I need some chocolate and a Coke to recover. Have a great night!
