check mate
ok. today is my last day at work for the next 4 months. Last time I had four months off I was laid off in '99 with a nice .com settlement and nothing but fun to be had. I planned trips to Costa Rica and Venezuela. This time I will not be living the life of leisure, I will be taking on the role of mommy. With baby boy still firmly implanted inside my body, it is definitely surreal to think about him being out and about. I did some walking this weekend to lure him out of his hidding place. Dreamt about labor all weekend. Watched The Incredibles(cute!) and I heart the Huckabees(wtf?) yet still no action. I pleaded with him and reminded him that the sooner he comes out on his own, the less weight he will be truckin through the birth canal. I decided that chess might be the activity he likes most. I don't mind a chess playing son, he just better be damn good at it. all this and we still have no set boy name. woops. days til baby boy arrives(like it or not!): 2, hours til lunch: 11:30, netflix movies to watch at home: 2.
