5th day of May
ok. happy cinqo de mayo. i read in one of my many books that there is a suggested beer and spicy food meal that is suggested to kick start labor. Walking and Sex was also listed, but I am hungry so naturally my thoughts turn to dinner. I will be making a pit stop on the way home to Harris Teeter to get my avocados, limes, coronas and spicy taco sauce. tonight i celebrate the 5th of May with spicy tacos. yum. spicy food has been avoided at all costs b/c of the heartburn it has been causing me. but not when im trying to naturally induce labor. aha.
pet peeve of the week: buffet line cutting. WHO are these people that think it's ok to skip by 3 people in line to get to the item they want in the cafeteria buffet! It wasn't cool in the elementary school lunch line, and it's not cool now. This lady made her move around me, ONLY to stop right in front of me to get 2 scoops of the fried rice, JUST to hold me up, as now I am behind her, but want to get to the items on the OTHER side of her. I was tempted to YELL: NO CUTS!! but my prego buffet rage was controlled. days til may flowers: 5.
