US Women win Algarve Cup 2005
ok. good things for the womens national team. they beat Denmark 4-0 to advance to the finals of the Algarve cup. phew. i was a bit nervous. Then this afternoon they beat the Germans 1-0! YES. This is good news for the future of US WNT. Christie Welsh scored 5 goals in 4 games and didn't win the player of the tournament. they gave it to some german named brigit. that stinks! I stayed home last Friday from work, another illness! I can't seem to shake this phlegm! childbirth class is tonight, im very interested in seeing what horrible possible labor situation might pop up in my dreams tonight. after every class, i have some wacked out pregnancy dream. the last one involved the umbilical cord slithering out when the water broke. i dont think i blogged about that, but the idea still scares the hell out of me. days without chipotle: 14.
