ok. woke up this morning to get tested at the lab for gestational diabetes. i had to fast before taking it, so I ate some icecream at 9pm last night. im pretty sure that is what they meant by fasting. woke up, drove to lab, drank orange glucose bottle and sat there for an hour reading the da vinci code. i must be strange b/c i didn't mind the orange drink, at all. it tasted like sunkist. i wonder if that means i failed the test. i was forewarned about how horrible it would taste and that i might even gag. but hell, i would do another one if i was on fear factor without a problemo. On a soccer note, the US men are playing Trinidad as I type. the game started at 2:30pm and I was torn with the thought of leaving the office to go watch. I will look back on this and wonder why i didn't later tonight. I don't know why but I can't seem to have a fondness for Eddie Johnson. I don't know what it is about him. but I will go google some info and see if I can decide to let him into my US-favorites-list. man, i just checked out ussoccer.com and the game is almost over with the USA up 2-0! woohoo. AND Eddie Johnson scored the first goal in minute 30. what is up with this dude! he is a scoring machine. i need to have a soft place in my heart for him, especially with McBride not scoring anything... day countdown to world cup 2006:485
