HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE
ok. The patriots won the superbowl. woohoo. 3 in 4 years. i know a lot of VERY happy people. but more importantly the DC UNITED won the MLS CUP. anyone? anyone? if you haven't been paying attention i only recognize one true football. The US women play it the best, the US men are working on it. David Beckham of course has it all figured out. but I cant resist watching my new england patriots win a title. the irony behind the "my" is that i actually HATE american football. i really do. i hate it. i watch the superbowl to eat the apps and watch the ads. i have no problem admitting this, but i just had to act like i cared when i torment coworkers who are eagles' fans. but right before i leave their offices, i say, im just kidding, i hate football. but there is something in my blood about rooting for the patriots. it might be the connection between growing up in East Longmeadow, playing town soccer with girls from Longmeadow, one of which who then moves to Paris to model, changes her name to "Bridget" Moynahan, ends up in Hollywood, and currently dates the New England Patriots QB Tom Brady. I just KNEW there was a soccer link to my watching the superbowl. now im complete. dinner tonight: 2941.
