ok. I don't know how the rest of you are handling today, but I'm a bit bummed out. Mia Hamm retired last night along with Julie Foudy and Joy Fawcett. Their final game was televised live on ESPN CLASSICS. Unfortunately, the game was 8pm on the West Coast and I didn't have the energy to stay up and watch it at 11pm. For the record, I was in bed by 9:15pm. And now, I'm really bummed that I didn't watch it or setup the vcr to tape it. US beat Mexico 5-0. mia had 2 assists. I still can't believe that there is no mia hamm bobblehead out there. That just doesn't seem right. Mia Hamm career goals: 158, career assists: 144, career caps: 275.
