ok. so baby boy better like spicy thai food, b/c that's what i chowed down at lunch today. yum. I am in the middle of "I am Charlotte Simmons" by Tom Wolfe, which I received for Christmas. After reading an excerpt in a Rolling Stone mag which appeared out of the blue at our house, I decided I really wanted to read the whole novel, to think of all those book-teasers that I have skipped over in the past, NOW i will take the time to read them all! I have never read a Tom Wolfe novel before, but I'm really enjoying this one. I have been in a John Irving rut for the last 3 years as I have been trying to read all of his novels, so Tom Wolfe is a nice change of pace. Both very detailed writers...sometimes I find myself skimming a paragraph and then I have to reread the page b/c I missed so much detail. shame on me! pages read: 368. days in my possession: 4.
