ok. I know it's a great sunny beautiful fall day in DC, and of course the red sox are world series champs!! I'm very happy. My thoughts do drift towards Nomar and Mia. Did he watch the game last night? Did he lament his decision to want more $? Is all that $$ worth not being a red sox world champ? These things I ponder. but only for a moment. In my efforts to determine who will replace my red sox hottie, it is between Damon, Lowe and Varitek. If Lowe gets a contract, I think he will win. What helps him is that I have a poster in my office. I took it down when I moved offices and hadn't put it back up when he had a tremendous game against the yankees. then i felt like i couldnt jinx anything by putting it back up. so it has been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks. woops!! Is it too early to think about a 2005 repeat champs!? straight games to win: 7, goals ABBY had against Ireland: 5.
