Ding Dong germany goes down
ok. i managed to WAIT all day on Monday to hear anything about the US WNT match against the evil GERMANS. I felt pretty ggod. I raced home and was able to see that my sometimes peculiar VCR managed to do what I told it to do. The whole game was recorded including the Overtime!! woohoo. Mia had an assist. It wasn't exactly what I had in store for her, but I will take the point. I was pleased with the defense and their abilities to shut that dang german Brigit sound like Frigid down to ZERO goals. YAY! Abby didn't score but she meant to. US wins 2-1!!!!SteveO taught me a term that I had never heard of: preventative defense. He informed me that if I talk to any NFL fan, they will groan with pain when i reference that term. To be honest, I try to NEVER speak about the NFL, but it was an important fact. I too join the band of warriors who hate the preventative Defense. I HATE it! you play to win, screw this "batten down the hatches" BS. hours til us women beat up brazil:14.5.
