ok. watched the espy's red carpet show last night and saw nomar and mia!! woohoo. superstar couple ACTIVATE! so steveO and I watch the whole dang thing which was pretty funny. Jamie Foxx is insane. So, who wins 2004 ESPY Female Soccer Player of the Year? yea, MIA HAMM! BUT they don't actually present it to her. They do one of those crappy listings of winners like the oscars do for techy-sci-fi winners. SO all I got to see of her was crowd shots with Nomar and no acceptance speech. what a RIP! Tom Brady of course, was with his soon-to-be-wife Bridget.(although she had no engagement ring on when she presented an award) The same Bridget who Mary and I used to play East Longmeadow Youth Soccer with in the early 80s. and the same bridget that was at UMASS during our freshman year. Now she is famous HOllywood chick with QB-superbowl-winning boyfriend. man. that is nutso.
stayed home sick today with allergy headache. Spent the last 4 days on Martha's Vineyard for Jimmy's 40th bday party. It was such a great fun beautiful weekend. Got to hang with Phoebe and Elizabeth at the beach and then Billy came down with Danielle and Jared and we all got to beach it on Saturday. Heather looks great as a pregnant mommy. I finally got to meet, Liberty or LIBBY the island dog. she is a very very sweet dog. so I bought her a fetch toy, a soft baseball that squeeks. SteveO and I flew into MV from DCA. I l-o-v-e flying straight into MV although I would like to have steveO take a ride over on the ferry someday. # of Claire Murray rugs bought in Edgartown:2, came home with new tote bags from Murrays: 2.
