ok. played womens soccer league last night. we tied 1-1. I scored with my gut to put us up 1-0 in the first half. yep. Paige crossed a perfect ball to me and i stuck my gut out and hurled the ball into the back of the net. should have had 2 other goals but unable to convert. my ankle was acting up so my pivoting to sprint was hampered. it was so humid that just standing still was making me sweat. so i didn't do alot of needless running. i mean, this is a soccer game after all. ha.
I reviewed the ESPY nominees last night. whatever! no female soccer players were selected for female athlete of the year. this is so annoying! these 3 chicks were selected: Justine Henin-Hardenne, tennis(Haven't been paying attention); Annika Sorenstam, golf (HELLO, can someone say LEISURE ACTIVITY?) and lastly: Diana Taurasi, basketball(UCONN, so clearly as a UMASS grad, that isn't going to fly, but she is the only AMerican. arg. UCONN it is.) blisters on toes: 2
