mia 150 and fast driving
mia::150 and fast driving
ok. mia hamm scored her 150th goal last night as the US women beat the Australians 3-1. For me personally, it was an achievement in super fast driving. I had a soccer game at 7:15 at Poplar Tree Fields, at the final whistle, i ran and jumped in my car at 8:20 trying to beat the clock back to our house so i could see the end of THE game. I arrived home, ran to the tv and was able to catch the game in the 73rd minute. I would like to thank the City of Fairfax for allowing me to speed through the red lights, the VW Corporation for making a turbo jetta and the Shell Corporation for making this ridiculously overpriced gas called V-power, so I don't mind paying $2.19/gallon. Thankfully, mia waited until minute 82 to score her 150th goal and then sprinted to the sideline to do her goal-happy dance. I'm glad i got to see it all unfold. and of course, the women coming from a one goal deficit to win 3-1 was pretty sweet. mia hamm int'l goals: 150.
