Phlegmboozled!
Two days ago I addressed all of you gentle readers as “Phlegmites” and ever since, I have been haunted by the term.
I think perhaps we should petition Peekay for a name change.
“Phlegm” is such an ugly word. It's sort of along the lines of the word "congealed" for me. I hate that word. That and the word "moan" I think the word "moan" should be stricken from the dictionary, although, I guess that'll never happen because then what will all of the smut novelists say when they reach a chapter that requires a moan? Groaning is masculine while moaning is feminine ... unless the moan is a man in pain, then it's allowable.
As for phlegm, I don't think that's at all associated as a particularly masculine or feminine action/thing, but that doesn't make it any prettier. Send Peekay your suggestions for a new name. Perhaps it could be like a little welcome home present.
