cicadas, i hardly knew ya.
cicadas, i hardly knew ya.
ok. i know i was originally scared and disgusted by the pending cicada infestation, but i never knew i would miss it. i mean really miss it. the buzzing in the trees, the carcasses everywhere(well, that is still ongoing), the birds plopping record setting poops on my car...i'm back from vaca and its all gone! it wasn't really all that worthy of the media segments. oh well, just another y2k scare and then nothing. zilch. fizzled. i might need to do some research on how many items the media has blown out of proportion recently, only to miss something really big. all of it must be sad, being a media-clone.
i walked up to the 6th floor today to burn a couple DVDs and noticed a cicada wing lying on the rug. there is still evidence that man did evolve from monkeys!
Steve-o is working on getting us a new website to host the wedding pics. I decided that I didn't want to use ficemook.com since it links to my blogs and I might have an inappropropriate comment for family viewing. wouldn't want any family types reading the inner-workings of my brain.
