ok. as in, couldnt hit one if i tried. played soccer near the lincoln memorial on saturday and had about 500 shots on goal. nothing doing. hit the post. went wide left, wide right, over the crossbar, at the keeper. you name it, i did it except score. but i did have 2 assists and we beat the first place team 2-0. who cares if they had 8 players to start. not me. they beat us 6-0 at the beginning of the season. mercy was not a word i was trying to use on saturday. weeeeee. sharondarella and steveO came to cheer me on, i think there were some action photos taken, maybe i will post some soon! my cool down was a 2 mile walk to our car b/c there were so many tourists in DC on saturday, i couldnt find parking FOR miles. eek.
family birthday dinner was at the Mount Vernon Inn, it was very fun! had some nice red snapper!! even better was the homemade chocolate bday cake back at the RICH family HQ. awesome time and i married myself into a wonderful new family. They put the IN in in-laws.
