cicadas update
ok. apparently the little buggers are on a mission to kill my peony. waaa. what can you do when you only have 2 weeks to live. In case you are not in this evil cicada area, here is a page to help you understand the 17 year madness. Great article on NOMAR!!! in the boston globe, there are references to the almighty mia. what a great marriage of athletic prowess. wooo. still need to get mia bobblehead. somewhere one must exist. i am on a linking roll today!
played over 30 soccer last night, it was only a scrimmage b/c the ref called the game on account of lightning. it was probably a good thing seeing how I was jumping out of the way of all the balls so as not to gain any new bruises. technically, i told steve-o that i would stop playing 14 days before the wedding, but like a true addict, i figured that the over 30 league didnt count. and then the red called the game. what a rip! well the ladies gave me a really sweet card and wished me well. i return from st. lucia with 3 games left in the season! i hope to get some balls in the net upon my return.
