ok. needed to go to the DMV today. That's right, its the 3rd day of the new year and I drive to the DMV on a SATURDAY and I drove right past it. When I got there the line was out the door and into the parking lot. eek. the great procrastinator finds a way to avoid the inevitable. I was supposed to wake at 8am and get there bright and early. but no, i decided to drive there at 10:45am. woops. It closes at noon. so i put it off. But in the great procrastinator tradition, I usually find something to accomplish... SO I finally took our sailboat pictures from CT and Martha's Vineyard to Michaels and picked out the frames. $220!!! sheesh. it seems insane, b/c the large picture was only $10.50. oh well.

Stivo and I went to Sears and bought a Nordic Elliptical Trainer. It was supposed to be one of those New Years Resolution days where you walk out of the store, go home and start exercising. Then Walt from Sears, tells us that it is out of stock until February, 2!!!! eeek. thats cutting our training down to 4 months. eek. I must start using my winsor pilates tapes. Im pretty sure the ranch dip I am eating is not on the diet plan. I need a personal trainer to live with me for the next 5 months. for free, and she can't be annoying but must be as motiational as Kathy Smith.

I have missed the O.C. during its 3-week holiday haitus. I need it back!

In soccer news, Mia and Nomar are married. do you feel the peace in the world? I get a lot of Mia backlash at work, mainly directed at my new Mia art on the wall. Danielle and Jared gave me a framed Sports Illustrated cover of Mia during the World Cup. The strange thing is that I never even read the article. I need to find it online. oooh. a project to surf. It will aide my procrastination b/c I am supposed to be finding some cool new funky wedding invites. I approached 2 NY illustrators, but alas, they are busy. waaa! I have no art skills. its ok.
