ok. i just returned from georgetown in what could be the most insane shopping trip in recent memory. apparently, i decided that $125 was ok to spend on moisturizer. blue mercury on M street should have a sign outfront that reads "All reason leaves your body as soon as you enter our spa of worship. Mind the gap that drops you into credit card hell." i did go insane. but you should see all my bags! wahooo. my shopping crime partner was kathleen kelleher and she arrived from NOHO yesterday. we shopped, we stopped for lunch, we shopped, we stopped for dinner. then we hit barnes and noble. i bought a bride magazine and a wedding book. did you see my mind? i lost it on the 3rd floor. i did have a moment of clarity and grabbed an Isable Allende book. I need to read more. Kate Spade has a DC store. I am well aware of it now, as i had to buy a new day planner, for the wedding appointments, dontcha know! I have no idea what a wedding i want, but i got a new book to plan it in. wooohoooo. Steve isnt going to recognize me when he returns from deer camp. they actually call it deer camp! that still makes me smile. i wonder what campfire songs are sung at deer camp. more shopping to do tomorrow! # of free samples from Sephora: 1, # of free samples from blue mercury:6
