ok. so izzy came and went. so did our power! about 5:30 pm last night. good thing we had a cooler of beers and some yummy guacamole. we played rummikub on the kitchen table until the yankee candles we had burning made it sickening to smell. then played 6 games of yahtzee. man, i lost 2 games to 4. steve must have cheated. ha. today! we come to work at 7:30am. i was tired. so i grabbed a towel and used it as my pillow and laid down on the floor of my office for a wee nap. I had to wait for Steve to get the network up anyways! i have been at work today and i am exhausted!
but i do have incredible news!! ashley called with FREE world cup tix!!! very exciting. of course we did shell out massive amounts of ducats for this sundays opening match, but these tix have a face value of $175!!! woohooo. we plan to sell them to make our money back on our tix. very very cool.
at lunchtime, i walked to the Rosslyn Quiznos and saw 2 gals in SWEDEN national team soccer polo shirts. aha! I see the enemy going to starbucks! I felt like calling the police and having them jailed before the big game. woo! im pumped!!! let's GO USA. USA. U-S-A!
