ok. i used to complain about the rain. how june 2003. now its these dang japanese beetles. i hate them. all i did was love my basil plants. i watered, and talked to them. they were loved. i get home from a 3 day weekend in CT. and the orient express of japanese beetles came to town and RAVAGED my little basil plant. the strange thing is that only one was completed gutted. the other 2 plants still stand defiantly(well they are standing tall b/c i have chopsticks holding them up but lets go with this one.) i wonder why that one particular basil plant was chosen to die. waa. its sad really. i wonder if doctor phil could help out on this crisis. i hate him too. hours on train to CT: 5.45, hours on train from CT: 7.15(same route!)
