ok. ahh its monday and i slept in. surely, a champion of champions deserves a day to sleep in! well it certainly wasnt a soccer win to make me a champion b/c all my games on Friday and Saturday were cancelled. boo hiss. damn this rain! mother nature is a witch! waiting... no lightning here. anyhow. I won this weeks fantasy baseball game 9-3 woo woo. very pleased with that as it put me into 3rd place and 7.5 games out of first place. woo! that was a good one. then! my WUSA fantasy team entry (yeah i have 6), well, the one I have listed under Phoebe got to 2nd place. Which is huge as there is over 1000 entries in that league. then to top it all off I came in first this week in NASCAR fantasy racing as I had the #1,#3 and #7 spots on my team. so that was huge. saturday in the extreme humidity, i got on the OLD TOWNE trolley tour od DC and sweated. seriously. drove past my old apartment. I didnt know that there was 45 churches on 16th Street. did u? went to see the Library of Congress which I had never set foot in. that was cool. US WNT beat IReland 5-0. Abby Wambach kicked butt and got herself on the map. hopefully she will make the roster for the World Cup in September. Got to see the game on ESPN2 which is cool b/c I have been working everytime a game was on. Nothing else to report. all good! games rained out this weekend: 3, meetings today: 2, audrey hepburn stamps purchased today: 20.
